What Does "Charge Ready" Mean?
When we say your project must be “charge ready,” it means your glass piece should be fully prepared and ready to be placed into the kiln. This includes:
- All cutting, assembling, and cleaning of glass should be completed beforehand.
- No additional adjustments or setup should be needed before firing.
- Projects should be placed on kiln shelves with the correct separators or supports to prevent sticking.
By ensuring your project is "charge ready," we can maximize kiln efficiency and help you get the best results from your firing session.
