Explore Our Studio & Classes
Potekglass offers a variety of glass art classes, ranging from beginner workshops to more advanced techniques. Whether you are interested in stained glass, fused glass, or torchworking, our expert instructors will guide you through the process with hands-on experience. Upcoming classes, such as our Marbles 101 weekend workshop, provide a unique opportunity to learn essential glassworking skills, including making pendants and marbles using techniques like vortex patterns, implosions, and twists.
We also offer Open Torch sessions every Thursday evening from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, where you can practice your skills in a relaxed, creative environment. With limited availability in some classes, be sure to register early to secure your spot!
Browse Our Glass Art Supplies & Materials
In addition to classes, Potekglass offers a wide selection of glass art supplies for purchase. Our shop carries everything from borosilicate glass to Murano glass pieces, as well as specialty items like marbles and glass tools. We are also the largest distributor of Bullseye Glass in the Northland, making us your go-to destination for bulk glass orders.
Our range of products ensures that artists of all levels will find the materials they need for their next project, whether it's a custom stained glass window or a unique glass sculpture. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality, affordable glass and supplies to help you achieve your artistic goals.
Spotlights on Artists & Events
At Potekglass, we believe in showcasing the work of talented glass artists from around the world. Featured artists like John Kobuki, a renowned glass artist known for his marble-making skills, bring unique perspectives and techniques to our studio. Kobuki, who has been featured in prestigious publications such as 100 Lampworkers and Glass Line Special Edition, teaches internationally and inspires artists with his work. His marbles, such as the beautiful Ladyslippers—modeled after the MN State Flower—demonstrate the intricate possibilities within glass art.
Additionally, we offer regular spotlights on other artists, events, and glass art projects that inspire creativity and showcase the rich diversity of the glass art world. Whether you're an artist or an enthusiast, there's always something exciting happening at Potekglass.
