The Flux Arts Building

Designed for the Flux Arts Building, this installation of 7 saucer lights takes as its theme the motion of traffic on Lowry Ave NE. Approximately 14,000 cars travel down this stretch of Lowry every day. This rhythm is the melodic line that underscores the work. Historically Northeast has been a neighborhood of immigrants and this continues to this day. The color work attempts to reflect this diversity along with the movement of the seasons and its tie to the Mississippi river.
