Baptiste Debombourg

Baptiste Debomberg transforms construction materials into poetry.  The use of spent architectural glass acknowledges the need of reuse as a useful tool in the artists meaningful toolbox.   Extremely dynamic these piece feel as if they are both moving and at an instant a snapshot.  Cruel and blissful in reccollection.

The close attention to represented material - here a tidal increase - is prescient in how it alerts my combined emotions of voyer and complience.  Ennui?  Instead of the push of the rock we pause before drowning.
