Bring Art to Your Community
Potekglass Loves Bringing Art to the Minneapolis Community
School programs and institutional residencies are a special area of focus for Potekglass.
Our instructors have many years of experience working with teachers, administrators and other stakeholders in developing syllabi to integrate into class curriculum and organizational missions.
We work with teachers and students to develop hands-on programs that allow the participants to design, build, and understand what a public art piece is and in its execution. In creating their one-of-a-kind piece of art, students may use mathematics, social studies, current events, color theory, and their communication and problem-solving skills. The project will reinforce working together in groups, participating in a collaborative effort and positive interpersonal skills.
The best part? They will have fun doing it!
