Glass Painting with John Sandy January 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th

Join us for a four week course (2 hour sessions) to learn the traditional techniques for painting on glass with John Sandy. Students will learn the history of the art form, choose a pattern together, learn trace techniques, discuss firing temperatures, develop the image while applying learned techniques, and engage in critiques.

John Sandy received his B.F.A. in painting and drawing at Moorhead State University 1973-77, M.F.A. in painting and drawing at S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo New York 1978-79, and taught at Millard Fillmore Collage for four years while in Buffalo.Sandy owned, ran and taught at Glass Endeavors 1996- 2022, instructing 200-300 students every year at Glass Endeavors.
