Crackin' the Kiln Code

In this 5-week survey course, students will explore the dynamic range of glass kiln work as they create a variety of glass projects including bowls, tiles, and small sculptures. Malcolm will instruct on various techniques for creating fused glass pieces, and incorporating pattern and bead bars, along with fiber molds. Students will go away with a foundational knowledge of warm glass and how to use various heating schedules to achieve a successful end result.
