Art in the World: Albinus Eskus
Albin Eskus was an international artist who has produced many works of stained glass that can be found in churches and commercial institutions throughout the United States and Europe.
Over his 50 year career, he has received numerous awards and recognitions, culminating in a Stained Glass Association of America Lifetime Achievement Award in 2000, and the SGAA’s President’s Award in 2006.
His book “The Art of Painting on Glass,” published by Scribner’s in 1980, is still sought after.
Albin was also an exceptional water-colorist and draftsman, and exhibited watercolors, drawings and stained glass in one-man and group shows around the United States.
Albinus loved to teach and conducted workshops for more than 20 years around the United States.

Open Torch Resumes Now and New Class Dates added
We are excited to announce 2nd Saturday
Open Torch is back! Scheduled Open Torch group sessions have resumed with a limit of four people per session.
Try-iT! classes also resumed. Class sizes will be cut in half in order to maintain 6' social distancing at the bench. We currently require all participants and staff to wear masks. Basics from Boron, Italian Soft Glass and Kiln sessions have been added.
