Artist in the World: Trey Cornette

Trey Cornette began his lampworking career as a bead-maker some 15 years ago. He has shown his work nationally over that time and has moved from working in softglass beads to borosilicate marble making. Trey has taught glasswork for the last eight years.

Kiln Try-iT!

Saturday 2.23 | 10 am - 1 pm

Simple to start endless in its potential, kiln-forming is to glass what conducting is to instruments. You will explore the foundations of kiln-work: learn to cut patterns out of sheet glass, make frit, and work with a variety of glass formats by fusing glass in the kiln.

Crackin' the Kiln Code

Thursdays 2/21 - 3/14
6:00 - 8:30 pm

Learn warm glass basics! You will explore the dynamic range of glass kiln work and create beads, pendants, tiles, bowls, plates and small sculptures. You will learn various fused glass techniques incorporating patterns, bead bars and fiber molds. Discover how to use various heating schedules to achieve distinct end results. Part with foundational kiln work knowledge!
